Blogging and Confidence// Working towards my goals

Hey guys!

I thought I would take the time to write about something new today. Brave, Confident, Shy, Smart, Social. There is a lot of ways people describe me and sometimes they really contradict each other. Why? Well there is the person that I am on my blog and then there is me as a friend, sister and daughter. I am not the most confident person, I am actually quite the opposite but for my blog it requires me to bring things across with a lot of confidence. I do not force the confidence it actually happens quite naturally, ever since I started blogging my confidence has had a massive boost. I am less scared to do things, I do them because I want to and I do not worry as much about what people will think about me. A lot of you have asked me recently how I got that confidence.

Confidence
As a blogger you will need confidence. A lot of people start blogging and don't let their close friends and family know about their blog. I was one of them and I understand that it takes a lot of guts to come out and let people know. However, if I did let people know about 5 years ago everything would have been different. My blog would probably have come further but I was way too young to have that kind of confidence. I wish I knew sooner that there is always people out there just like you who will love your blog, even if you don't think so. When I first made a blog post public, I had the most unexpected reactions - in a good way! People that I never really expected to read my blogs came up to me. What you have to realise is that friends and family will be the most supportive people out of all and you need that. Even if they don't read every single blog post they create the exposure for you and will always be there to support you.

Working Towards My Goals

This is something so important to me that it almost takes over my life.. I am a very motivational, determined and driven person when it comes to my blog. How I do it? I have an overall big goal in my mind which is personal to me and I do not share with anyone. However, to get there I have a set of smaller goals that I work towards. Sometimes I am working towards my goals so much that I blank out everything else around me - which I still can't figure out whether it is a good or bad thing.  I have set this to be one of my top priorities. Education, Blogging and Friends and Family are my special priorities everything else is irrelevant right now.

The point of this post? You do not have to become a blogger to do this but you can have priorities. Sit down and think about what is important to you. I think about my future a lot and I do all of this because I know that I want to get somewhere in the future and this is what I am passionate about and they always say - it is best to spend your time doing what you love.
