Unwrapping Christmas Gifts 2014

I hope you all had a lovely time with your family and friends celebrating Christmas. We opened our gifts with a few family friends this year and I thought I'd make a small video to show you how the atmosphere was like in our home. After the video continue reading if you want to see what I got this Christmas.

They actually managed to prank me, I didn't think that they would've put a water bottle in an empty box and they even managed to film my reaction! But seriously I never expected anyone to prank me because it's usually the other way around.

Winter Wonderland - aka my little Germany

Yesterday I went to Winter Wonderland with a few friends. In the 4 years I've lived in London, I've never had the chance to go there but now that I've been I don't think I will miss any opportunity to go there.

Apart from the fact that the rides are quite pricey I love everything else about it. However as it is a free entry event you might as well go there to have a look around and enjoy the Christmassy atmosphere.
One thing I certainly was very excited about was the German style Christmas market with products from Germany. I never go to Germany during the Christmas holidays as tickets are very expensive at this time of the year. That's why I haven't seen a German Christmas market in 5 years and I was extremely hyped when I saw everything. Just like a little child on Christmas Eve.  I had mulled wine (Glühwein) and a proper Bavarian Bratwurst. Do you really think I would have left without taking a picture of them?

I owe you an explanation! What I've been up to.

Until two minutes ago I honestly didn't realise that I haven't blogged for 11 days! I knew that I haven't blogged in a while but I didn't expect it to be such a big break. The last week at school was just as stressful as it always has been because teachers start cramming in tests in the last minute and I ended up with about 5/6 exams in one week. To add to that stress I took on a project myself. I made little gifts bags for my friends filled with small gifts and stuff that I baked myself. Last Thursday night, I didn't get any sleep at all because I was up baking all night. I was going to post a picture of the bags I made, but I must've been so tired I forgot to take a picture of them!

Last Wednesday a few friends of mine and me took part at the yearly Christmas Concert at school whoop. Since I have no other useful talent (as always haha) I volunteered to be part of the stage crew yay! I actually enjoyed being part of the stage crew the last two years.

{stage crew selfie}

The Christmas tree wasn't going to get filled with gifts around it by itself sooo it was time to go get some gifts for my family and friends. That took up a lot of my time and I'm STILL not done with getting gifts and the thought of going to Oxford Street on the 23rd or 24th December makes me sick! As much as I hate last minute people, I'm going to be one of them this Christmas! :S

With all of that I had to deal with my usual weekly routine which includes driving lessons, tutoring volunteering, gym and going to my private tutors. I was also ill and the workload started getting to me so I really needed a break.

Well I hope you believe me now that I really did have a stressful few days and I only recovered lately by catching up with all the sleep I missed. I really felt like I owe you an explanation so this was explanation as to why I haven't blogged this long. I am sorry! I will make sure that this won't happen ever again and I'll learn to manage  my time better.
Also! I have a few more posts coming up in the next few days which you might find interesting so make sure you come back and have a look soon. :)

Must get Skincare product for cold winters!

Normally I review products after 2-4 weeks after I've bought them but with this product I really couldn't wait that long because it is amazing! If I did wait 4 weeks winter will almost be over and there wouldn't be a point in me telling you about it.

It is perfect for extremely dry skin areas. For many years I've been having very dry skin above my lip which has led to a darker pigmentation and it is very annoying because it shows up darker than my skin tone and this mostly only happens in winter. This magical product is called "Skin food" by Weleda. I've seen their products before in Germany but I am not entirely sure why I never had the thought to try it.

Meet Vithya Visvendra! | Hair and Make Up artist

Although I'm more of a lifestyle blogger than a beauty blogger, I'd like introduce you to a well known hair and make up artist called Vithya. She is a very skilled hair and make up artist but she also stands to me by the way she became successful. She was an ordinary girl and has worked hard and pushed herself to come where she is now. Becoming successful isn't easy and to become successful you do need to have a certain set of qualities which Vithya certainly has.
To me Vithya is one of the biggest inspirations. I personally look up top her and she motivates me to continue being an independent woman and do what I love because hard work pays off and she is a living example.
She is a self-employed make up artist who is mainly specialised in Asian Bridal Hair and Make Up, however she does do hair and make up for a whole variety of events and people. She recently worked on film sets, music videos and TV shows. She is very organised, motivated and driven which is what I would say has made her this successful.

Vithya moved in her teenage years to London; she was born in Sri Lanka and raised in Germany. She studied and graduated with a BSc Honours Degree in Biology and Psychology. She then went to London College of Fashion and qualified with a diploma in Hair and Make up Styling. Although she is based in London, she works all over the world and provides an international service.
I had a small interview with her as I was intrigued to find out more. Her answers were excellent and she gives really good advise. You can read the interview below!
Model: Vithya Visvendra

1) You work very hard for what you have now but before you became a well known make up artist, how did you promote yourself?
  • Thank you. After my degree, I worked for a marketing company, so I guess I picked up a few skills on how to market myself. Facebook is a great platform, which brought success over the years, but Instagram is what made me “famous”.

2) I know that you have a very busy schedule but I've noticed that you are very organised just like me, what are your tips to stay on top of all of your work?

  • I have a personal phone and a business phone, an accountant, a business relationship manager through my bank, and also my diary and appointments book, I have quite a few things in place to stay organised. It is not easy, but I was born organised haha.

3) Where do you get your motivation from, how do you stay motivated?

  • I have written about motivation in many other blogs and posts, but all in all, my passion for hair and make up, and customer service is what motivates me. I think of how self-esteem is a huge thing for younger girls, and even Brides-to-be of course, and making a difference in their lives is an ultimate reward.

4) You have a very stressful lifestyle as well, as a lifestyle blogger this is one of the things that I have to deal with myself and talk about a lot in my posts. How do you make sure that it doesn't affect your health physically but also mentally?

  • To be honest I struggled with that for a very long time, I never knew how to find the balance. Now I go to the gym regularly, I meet up with my friends often, and have family down time, they all keep me sane!

5) What would you tell anyone that would like to be successful?

  • This is an interesting question. I think firstly you need to know the difference between success and fame. And really decide what is more important. I have always thrived for success, and fame came with it, but sometimes if you only look for fame, success might not be there, and the negativity will drive you mad. If you want success however, set yourself a timeline, a 5-year or 10-year plan, and realistically work on it. Success might take you many years to gain, but it will last longer! But for it to become your life, you have to have passion. If you are passionate about it, you will definitely be successful no matter what!

6) One thing we have in common is that we both moved to the UK from Germany as teenagers. Nowadays, a lot of teenagers are moving from one place to the other. How did you cope with moving to a new country and what advice would you give to anyone that has moved or is going to move to a different country?

  • I admit I found it very hard. I was bullied in school in Germany, and it only reduced when I got to high school, so moving to another country and starting all over again was very hard. I was bullied here for nearly two years and really struggled. I have always grown up being a loner, and also keeping my problems to myself, so that did not help. I would advise you to always talk about the struggles you are going through whether at school or with your new friends. Feeling at home may take a while, but if you understand why you moved and what the benefits are and that things will be fine soon, you will be fine. Just stay strong, and embrace the beauty of a new culture and a new life! I love London now, and could never ever move anywhere else! So no regrets there!

7) I saw the you are going to be volunteering this Christmas at Crisis UK. My next blog post is going to be about how I've volunteered the past few years for every Christmas and one thing I will be talking about is why I volunteer every single year. How did you organise your volunteering opportunity and why are you volunteering?

  • I am happy to hear that you do this regularly. I have always donated to charities, and am one of those people who will stop on the road to give money or food to a beggar, no matter where I am. I think volunteering is completely different. I have always wanted to do it, but never seemed to have the opportunity. I have been going through a rough time recently, and nearly suffered from a nervous breakdown, so I took some time out to reflect on my life. Going back to church made me realise that I have been quite selfish with all that God has blessed me with, and I decided to give to others more. So the volunteering should really do exactly that; help others, and also make me appreciate what I have! Be a better person I guess. One can try!

Thank you for the interview Vithya and for being so informative! I wish you all the best for the future. I think a lot of people can make use of this advise.
What do you think makes people successful? I am intrigued to find out what you guys think, so let me know in the comments below!

I met 5SOS in London!

It has to be one of the best days ever of my entire life. I met the cutest Aussies ever from 5 Seconds of Summer! Luke, Calum and Ashton! They are the cutest and nicest guys to meet and I'm just so happy that I got to meet and talk to them today. Ashton also mentioned that he loved my gloves that I was wearing haha so whoop compliment bonus. :) They are so cute and nice, it was definitely a good day. I met them ouside BBC Radio 1 London and I have no words left really. I don't know how to describe it.
Unfortunately Michael couldn't make it because he lost his passport such a dork haha. Also I didn't post a picture with Luke because I can't find it! It was a group selfie but I couldn't find the girl that took it, so IF YOU SEE a group selfie with Luke and I'm in it please let me know!

Skin care routine and Diet for Acne

For many years I've had to deal with breakouts on my skin because of acne. At the moment it is at its worst but I have been able to control it by monitoring the food I eat and by having a scheduled regular skin care routine.

Diet

Diet is a major factor affecting acne and this is one of the things you have control over so take advantage of it and make sure that you control your food, it will really help reduce your breakouts!
The research into acne triggers hasn't been very conclusive as research has shown no clear correlation and some research has not been supported by other. However, that does not mean that people haven't been able to reduce their acne. It is clear that every person's acne is caused by other factors. Some may only breakout when they eat certain foods or some may have severe hormonal imbalances. Personally I have noticed that my acne is affected by the food I eat e.g. if I eat a pack of Dorritos crisps I wake up with massive spots on my cheeks.  However, my acne is majorly affected by the hormonal imbalance in my body as I've developed it ever since I hit puberty and it still hasn't reduced at all.

So my best advice would be to keep a food diary, note down everything you eat and whenever you notice that you have severe breakouts write that down as well. This sounds extremely boring but I guarantee you it will definitely help you find a link! As I said before there are common triggers for acne but it really varies between each person. I've found that my triggers are crisps, chocolate, cheese, hot chocolate and sweets. Ever since I noticed the link I was able to establish that high levels of sugar, fats and dairy products are making acne worse. I've now learnt to completely leave out those foods or have them in moderate amounts. I've also started to reduce my caffeine intake and drink lots of green tea instead of coffee and I'm aiming to drink 2-3 litres of water everyday.

Skin care routine

One thing I will tell everyone with acne is that please don't use too many products on your skin as it really can irritate it and make it really dry. If you have acne you know that you will be desperately looking for products to reduce the breakouts and probably have had various skin care routines. Well that's what I'm going through as well but I've finally found a routine that is working for me. I've only been using this routine for a few days now but I can see my skin getting better. I will update you guys with my progress after a few weeks. I do this routine twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening.  I will leave the exact details of the products I use at the end of this post.

Mockingjay Part 1 (Hunger Games Trilogy) Movie Review

Has Katniss Everdeen managed to move and inspire everyone like she did in the first two movies of the hunger games trilogy? Well last night I went to watch the Hunger Games with my friend so I thought I'd like to write a quick review on it.

[Whoop that's the closest I'll ever get to Katniss Everdeen. ]

Whenever there's a successful movie it also comes with the perfect soundtrack to it. When I first listened to the soundtrack I was a little confused as the songs in it were very upbeat and as the last two movies did not have that much action I was not sure whether I was going to like this movie. However, I was completely wrong, there was definitely much more action compared to the previous 2 movies. I was so into the movie that I didn't even notice any of the songs being played in the background.

Now the storyline is fantastic. Katniss Everdeen is representing a smart, stubborn and strong female and allows the audience to feel emotionally attached to her even though she's just a movie character. She has been requested to be the Mockingjay and be the leader of the revolution to attempt to overthrow the Capitol. However, before becoming the Mockingjay she set her own conditions. One of which was to save Peeta Mellark. After being in the background a lot Gale finally gets to take matters into his own hands.

Distance isn't a barrier for friendships, it's your attitude towards it

As you get older more of your friends will be starting to move away from you and this may be to different cities or even a different country. Most people will start getting affected by these changes after they have finished their high school education. However as I moved to London at the age of 13, I had to start dealing with having friends quite far away from me. I guess I can consider myself as lucky as I only moved to a country within Europe and not across the world.

Now some may say that you will slowly drift away from all your friends after moving but true friends don't grow apart even if they don't talk to each other everyday. This is a quote that I've seen on the internet and I really like it just because I can relate to it so much.

We all have busy lives and we don't always find the time to catch up with a friend but that shouldn't mean that your friendship ends there. How many of you have them days where you just sit around and don't know what to do? How much time do you waste on your long journeys to work or school/college/uni? With the technology available now it isn't difficult to stay in touch with your friends at all. It takes a minute to send a text just to ask how your friend is and if they are okay. So why let a friendship drift away like that? If you truly love your friend you will find the time, even if you don't have time to call or text them just to make sure that they are okay. Imagine it like having a passion for something. I don't really have the time to blog, I've got A Level exams to prepare for but because I am really passionate about blogging I find the time to do it and give up most of my free time for it.

Dining experience next to London Bridge - Dim T Review

Last Friday it was my friend's birthday dinner and we went to a restaurant called Dim T. They offer oriental food - Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Malaysian dishes. So let me start off with the pros. Personally I thought the best thing about this restaurant was its location. London Bridge was right in front of the restaurant and the view from there was just extraordinary.

Now the food was not great but neither was it bad...

Birthday Cake for Mum

Hi guys!

So it was my mum's birthday yesterday and like for everyone else I made her a cake too. Although it is funny that my mum thought that I didn't make her a cake and started getting upset and annoyed over it. In the evening after I showed my mum the cake her moved drastically changed and that was the cutest thing ever. I make cakes for everyone's birthday even my friends so I don't know what made her think that I wouldn't make a cake for my own mother.

Anyhow, the cake I made her is a vanilla sponge cake. I used butter icing and fondant icing to decorate. Oh and on the cake it says "Happy Birthday, Mum". I wrote Mum in Tamil so she knows that those 11 years I spent in Tamil school weren't a waste haha.

So here's a picture of the cake:

Celebrating Christmas the German way!

Hi guys!

With Christmas less than a month a way it was time to get ready. I just love Christmas, it's never too early to get ready for it. As many of you may already know I grew up in Germany and since I have moved to London I haven't experienced Christmas the German way. Also flight tickets are not very cheap during this season so I decided to bring German Christmas over here to London. It's actually quite easy.

The German Christmas Season begins on the first Sunday of Advent. The Advent Wreath (Adventskranz) has 4 candles, one of which is lit each Sunday preceding Christmas. By the time it is Christmas Eve all 4 candles should be lit. This year the first Sunday of Advent is on the 30th November. Another German invention is the Advent Calendar which is now used in many European countries. This is supposed to help the children to count down to Christmas. They are usually made of Cardboard or they can even be self made. Each day starting on the 20th November (this year) one new window should be opened.
On Christmas Eve families gather together and have dinner together. In the evening the gifts under the Christmas tree will be exchanged.

Brain Food - My top 5 healthy food for students

How many of you eat lots of unhealthy snacks when studying for exams? Well I'm certainly one of those people. Jaffa cakes, crisps, sweets etc. Sometimes I feel I end up eating more than I'm used to during exam season. Because I get rid of all distractions I end up thinking about food. Please tell me I'm not the only one? So recently I've changed the snacks I eat when revising to healthy snacks. Especially because there's no point in me going to gym if I keep eating junk food.  I'd like to share with you guys my top 5 healthy snacks/drinks.

1) Strawberry-Raspberry Smoothie
2) Avocado Chocolate Pudding
3) Protein Banana Pancakes with maple syrup
4) Oat Cookies with raisins
5) Apple Crisps

So here are the Recipes:

Why girls shouldn't be afraid of weight training| My new gym routine!

Hi guys!

I have had a very busy week but it has been passing so slowly. This is mainly because I have been waking up at 5 AM almost every single morning, even on the weekend! No I haven't gone crazy and no I'm not suffering insomnia but I have been waking up so early because of my new gym routine.
My new daily routine is that I wake up at 5AM get ready for gym and I get to gym around 6AM. After working out I get ready and go straight to school from there. A lot of people have asked "aren't you tired" or "how do you wake up". Honestly, I don't feel tired afterwards at all. Actually I felt more tired after school when I didn't go to gym. Waking up this early and being productive makes me feel a lot better and motivates me. But to be able to wake up so early you do need the initial motivation to work out as well.
Now I would like to address a common misconception. Most females believe or even men believe that weight training at gym can make a female bulky and therefore make the huge mistake of completely avoiding this kind of training. Today a person "gave me advice" and told me to only do cardio workout sessions at the gym but nothing more because apparently women aren't supposed to lift weights. So I was asking, why not? Let me tell you it is not true at all. You are NOT going to magically turn into Arnold Schwarzenegger. A woman's physiology doesn't enable you to get as big muscles as men. "So why are there picture of bulky women on the internet?" Most women that look bulky on those pictures are most likely to take steroids or have edited the picture.

Everlasting friendships

Hi guys!

So the other day I was cleaning my room and found a CD that my friend made me 4 years ago! Before I left Germany she put all the pictures we ever took together on the disk. Whenever I come across the CD and watch the stuff on it I get really emotional actually, just realising what we used to be and how far we have come since then.

A little background story..

Cake, Cake and more Cake!

My latest obsession is caaaakes! There were so many birthdays this month and so I ate sooo much cake. So I wanted to share with you guys some of the cakes I made...

How NOT to deal with school stress

I may have never been the brightest student in the room nor am I genius. I am an average student at school and I am sadly the master of procrastination. I have seen so many posts and videos about how to deal with stress but most of them don't mention what you shouldn't do, they only mentioned what you could be doing to prevent stress or to overcome it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't look at new methods to prevent stress but also find factors that led to the problem in the first place and that is something I taught myself this year.

My fave Birthday dinners

Hi guys!

Last weekend I went out again for a cute little birthday dinner with the girl for my friend Aru's birthday. I noticed that I have been to sooo many birthday dinners lately almost every weekend since the majority of my friends turned 18 this month. All of them have been different in their own ways so it does not get repetitive.

So I thought I would tell you guys what kind of birthday dinners are my favourite.

Ariana Grande at the Teen Awards

Hi guys,

So I went to the teen awards yesterday and I FINALLY got to see Ariana! After desperately trying to meet her all week this was the closest I got to her but I am so grateful. My seats were amazing, block A seats, right at the front!! NEVER have I been this close.
Ariana started off by singing Problem followed by Bang Bang and Break Free!

I'd also like to thank Amy W. for giving me her ticket!
This was at the beginning when she just casually walked out to go over her dance moves with Jones Crow!

Met Ansel Elgort!

On the 10/10/2014, I met Ansel Elgort!
He is extremely cute, nice and handsome! Right after the apple store event - (I will be posting another post explaining this event) -  I walked around the building hoping to find a car park exit where Ansel could exit from. I was not the only fangirl with that kind of logic but as cute as Ansel is once he saw all of us he did not drive away like most celebrities would do but he stopped.

Jessie J leaked her own song....oops!

Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj have worked on a collaboration lately called Bang Bang. The three have been releasing short teaser clips and everyone has been hyping about it. The song début is tomorrow but tonight and if you are on any social network sites, you might have noticed people started hyping about the song being leaked.

There was a lot of hype on twitter about Jessie J's song getting leaked but actually the person that accidentally leaked it was Jessie J herself. She posted the song on sound cloud but soon enough she deleted it. It must have been an accident. Oops!

Summer Bucket list

Hey guys!

I have a great obsession with stationary and it is very important to me to be organised and I have this weird obsession to plan everything ahead and put them on a 'to do list'. If you personally know me you would definitely agree with this. So I have made a 'to do list' for this summer holiday.

1) Go to a water park

I haven't been swimming in a very long time and I absolutely love water parks so it's definitely a must for this summer.

2) Read 5 books

I don't have any time to read nowadays so I'm trying to read as much as possible. 5 books may not sound like a lot to you bookworms out there but it really is for me.
I still haven't read divergent.

3) Go on a road trip
Most of my friends have started driving as they're all turning 18 now and a road trip is something we have always planned together so I am to 99% sure that we will be going on a road trip across Germany! Guess which country has  NO SPEED LIMIT on the motor way??? Yup Germany!

4) Visit 3 German cities I've never been to
Since I moved to London I have always been going back to the same city in Germany - Karlsruhe (my home town). It's pretty much part of my routine travelling back and forth so it's time for something new.

5) New blog post everyday (hope you're happy about that!)
Do I need to explain? I guess not! :)

6) Go paint-balling
I have never done this before and I'm always up to trying something new.

7) Go to an amusement park
Did I mention that I am terrified of roller-coasters and that I have never been on one before? When I turned 17 I promised that I would have to go on a roller-coaster before I turn 18. It may be the first and last time. Well it's time to face my fears!

8) Play the drinking game
If you don't know what the drinking game is a little summary for you. So you get together with a group of friends and decide on a movie or series you are going to watch. Before you start you must set a few rules. You drink once whenever the characters do something specific from the list you have made before you started. It's pretty simple but I heard it's really fun.

9) Have a massive water fight
It's SO hot this year you have to do this at least once!

10) Have a nice and (healthy) picnic with a few friends

11) Play laser tag

12) Say yes to everything for one day
I stole this idea from Chuck Bass in Gossip Girl!! In Season 5 there is this episode where Chuck is in LA and yes to everything for a day and somehow it seemed very appealing to me so I'm going to give it a try.

13) Do pilates everyday
Did I mention that I love Cassy Ho aka Blogilates? She's like my fitness Guru.
https://www.youtube.com/user/blogilates

14) Spend one whole night watching a soap with a friend
Well I've tried doing this once before with one of my friends in Germany but we epically failed. His internet connection was extremely slow back then so it was difficult. So I'm going to try doing this again and previously maybe download the episodes so we don't have this problem again.

15) Produce a summer adventure book
I've given you 14 things I really want to do and already I am getting the idea that Summer 2014 is going to be special and unforgettable! Creating an "adventure book" capturing all the fun moments is something I really need to do.

Herman Ze German review - World Cup food

HEY GUYS!

Why so enthusiastic? Well why are you even asking? GERMANY WON THE WORLD CUP AND I AM SO DAMN HAPPY. As I grew up in Germany the world cup is a great deal to me and I was a little upset that I couldn't be in Germany to watch the matches and celebrate their success. But hey I couldn't be miserable I had to make it one of the best world cups I watched even if not in Germany.

Soooo this is what I did to achieve the right atmosphere. I watched Germany's first match at one of my friend's house and since then we've been to a public viewing screen in Stratford (England) to watch the rest of the matches.

13 reasons why - review

Hey guys!

I just finished reading 13 reasons why so I thought I might do a book review since a lot of you have recommended it to me on twitter.
So overall, I would say it is very different and special in the way it is written. From the beginning of the book you know that it  is about a girl that has already died so if you're like me hoping for a happy ending like the girl not being dead then I'm sorry to disappoint you.

The fault in our stars - movie review

As most people would agree the fault in our stars is a very emotional book and though unrealistic it still touches your heart.
The real question here is, how similar is the movie to the book? Personally, I thought that it was impossible to get the movie anywhere as good as the book. However, I was completely wrong. Yes everyone always goes on about how they did not include all scenes but that's how it is and also that is why books will be always special. The choice of actors I believe is perfect, they perfectly suit the role and that's why even I started shedding tears at the end of the movie! As unrealistic as it is, the story still manages to touch your heart.

One thing I would have really loved though is having a scene with John Green in the movie. I feel like he deserves a little more credit for the amazing books he writes.

Audience

To my surprise there was a very mixed audience. At first, I thought there is going to be a bunch of teenage girls. But actually there were families, couples or even young men watching the movie.

Overall, I really do think that the movie is worth watching!

Personal opinion on: Jumpsuits

So quite a lot of girls have been wearing jumpsuits this year and there's a reason  why...they are extremely comfortable!
Whether you are going to the cinema or shopping...you can wear them to most places.
You know sometimes you don't want to bother too much with picking an outfit with the right combination but still want to look nice..? Yup, that is exactly when these come in handy.

Double trouble aye? Do you think are they nice or not?

Fa-Lu-da?

Hey guys!

So my friend and I had the spontaneous idea of getting something to drink and she suggested something called "faluda" which completely confused me.

Now let me tell you this...it was yummy like the picture suggests! It's a South Indian "milkshake" with fruits and ice cream in it. Yummy!

How to do an ombré dip-dye

Hey guys!

So the other day I dip-dyed my hair with my friend at home. You really do not need to go to the hair dressers and spend a lot of money on this.
This is how you do it:

Preparation
- wash your hair the day before
 - get the dye and bleach

I would recommend using bleach if you have very dark hair like me. However, you can do it without it, but the colour of your hair may not look exactly like the colour shown at the front of the pack of dye.

The hair colour I bought wasn't L'oreal Paris and the colour of the dye was auburn.

On the day:
1) Make sure you brush your hair properly
2) Mix the products as described on the bleaching kit
3) Take thin strands of hair and cover them with bleach. Start from the bottom of the strands of hair and leave the bleach for approximately 5-10 minutes. You then do the same for the upper part of the strand of hair. How far up you want to go is up to you.
(You do the bottom of the hair of strand first to make sure that the tips of your hair is lighter than the top. When dying your hair this will be essential for creating an ombré effect.)
5) For best results, cover the bits with bleach on with aluminium foil.

Careful, it is important that you don't leave the bleach on for too long as it is very damaging and can even lead to your hair reason off if you leave it for too long.
Read the instructions carefully and don't leave it on for longer than they suggest on the box.
6) Wash the bleach off without using any products.

This is how my hair looked like after I bleached it:
7) Then repeat steps using 1-6 but instead of using the hair bleach use the dye.
8) Then wash it off after leaving it for a while.
(For the dye it is the opposite, the longer you leave it on the better it will be. Although, leaving it on for longer than suggested on the box is not good either.)

This was the end result after dying, blow drying and curling my hair.
It looks darker than the colour Auburn in this picture because it was immediately after dying it. The colour will evoke Mre vibrant after a few days so don't be worried if it looks a little different than it should be!
I was really happy with the result and I can't thank my friend Tanzina enough for helping me with it. :)

Frank is here!!!

#Frankeffect

Hey guys!

So I don't know if you've heard about this beauty product before but I have recently found this coffee scrub which apparently has worked its magic on people.

According to Frank "i’ll target cellulite, stretch marks, psoriasis, varicose veins, eczema and acne."
I have read many reviews on social network sites and not once have I come across one negative comment about this product. I found out about Frank body scrub through Instagram and I normally I would not get something shipped from across the world but once I saw the reviews and the before and after pictures from sooo many men and women, I could not resist it!

My parcel just arrived today all the way from the US and oh my I cannot wait to start using it! Obviously, this is not magic and it won't just magically change my skin so you have to use it for a few weeks continuously for the best results. I will try this product and I will let you know about my progress over the weeks.

Until then,

BYEEE
